Why I Built Torchera
Throughout my career, in boardrooms, on film sets, and on stage, I noticed that the most important breakthroughs never came from another course or article. They came from people who had lived the experience and were willing to share it.
That kind of mentorship has always depended on knowing the right person. Torchera exists to change that.
We are building a community where professionals, creatives, parents, and entrepreneurs can give and receive real guidance, with no hierarchy and no cost to connect. In a world increasingly shaped by AI, we believe lived human experience is more valuable than ever.
Information is everywhere. Lived experience isn’t. Torchera brings the two together.

About the Founder
Esha brings more than 15 years of experience as a global Talent Development, Talent Management, and HR leader, helping people and organizations grow. Her career has spanned India, New York, San Francisco, and Canada, giving her a first-hand understanding of what it takes to start over, adapt, and build again.
Alongside her corporate career, Esha has built a distinguished creative career, including a Bollywood feature film, independent films screened at international festivals, Off-Broadway theatre in New York, and Indian television. She is a founding member of an international film festival organization and a certified yoga instructor.
Across every field she has worked in, Esha observed the same pattern: the moments that change a person’s path are rarely solved by more information. They are solved by guidance from someone who has been there. Torchera was created to make that kind of guidance accessible to anyone, in any field, at any stage of their journey.
